Early Middle College- Medical Assistant
EARLY MIDDLE COLLEGE-MEDICAL ASSISTANT

Prerequite: Students must apply and be accepted into this program.
The Early College-Medical Assistant Program is offered in partnership with Baker College-Clinton Township Campus. This program is open to eligible 11th grade students who meet the eligibility requirements. This is a 3-year program that spans grades 11, 12 and 13 (Year 1 of college). Students earn high school and college credit in grades 11 and 12 and are enrolled as full-time college students in Year 13, at Baker College.
During the 11th grade year, students attend Warren Woods Tower High school for two hours, completing 3 college classes. During the 12th grade year, students attend Warren Woods Tower High School for one hour and then enroll in two college classes at Baker College. Transportation to the Baker College classes is provided back to the home high schools at approximately 6:00 p.m. on the college class days. Upon successful completion of one semester of year 13, students will be able to take the national medical assistant exam to become a Certified Medical Assistant. An associate degree can be earned by completing two semesters in year 13
College tuition and most expenses are FREE to eligible and accepted students.
