JROTC I
(SMTEC: CLHS)
Meets VPAA One (1) Credit Graduation Requirement |
The JROTC program prepares high school cadets for responsible leadership roles while making them aware of their rights, responsibilities and privileges as American citizens. The program is a stimulus for promoting graduation from high school and provides instruction and rewarding opportunities, which will benefit the cadet, community and nation. Must be a first year cadet and a ninth grader or higher. (LET 1).
JROTC II
(SMTEC: CLHS)
Prerequisite: Successful completion of JROTC II

Requires completion of the Leadership Education Training 1. Cadets are prepared for leadership roles in the corps of cadets. (LET 2).
JROTC III

Requires completion of the Leadership Education Training 2. Cadets are prepared for leadership roles in the corps of cadets and participate in mentoring of younger students. (LET 3).
JROTC IV
(SMTEC: CLHS)
Prerequisite: Successful completion of JROTC III

The JROTC program prepares high school cadets for responsible leadership roles while making them aware of their rights, responsibilities and privileges as American citizens. The program is a stimulus for promoting graduation from high school and provides instruction and rewarding opportunities, which will benefit the cadet, community and nation. Those students who complete JROTC and are motivated to join the service are eligible for advanced promotion. Requires completion of the Leadership Education Training 3. Cadets are assigned to key positions in the corps of cadets and various leadership roles. Cadets participate in mentoring of younger students, train junior cadets, and serve as positive role models. (LET 4).
