Sports And Entertainment Marketing


1 Credit Meets One (1) VPAA Credit Graduation Requirement

Grades 10-12,  


This class provides a student with a foundation in marketing concepts. The major areas of instruction will include an overview of marketing principles and its effects on our economic society. Other areas include: Selling, Promotion, Distribution, and Pricing. Management areas will include: Marketing Information, Product and Service and Entrepreneurship and Finance, specifically as it relates to the Sports and Entertainment fields. Curriculum for this course is entirely online and students will have access to it as they navigate the various segments. Students will have a final project based in the Sports and Entertainment field as well as present their findings and research to the class. This class is for two semesters (1 credit). Students that complete this course may have the opportunity to complete a work experience for credit in their senior year. (See instructor for details)
